Across The Universe OST

Legends gets their tribute in this movie and to be honest not all the songs live up to the original counterparts. My favourite part of this soundtrack is Let It Be which to me really suits the mood of the movie and a unique representation of it. The rendition of I Wanna Hold Your Hand was not right and not suitable as the original was a happy song but they changed it into a sad song here. If you haven't watch the movie, watch it. It's interesting how names like Lucy, Jude were used in the movie. As a Beatles fan I can't really say it's my favourite Beatles tribute but it has it's ups and downs. I'll give a 7 out of 10.

PS/The version of Helter Skelter here is amazing and it does justice to the original with Dana Fuch's vocals.

Suffocation-Effigy

So you think all those modern brutal death bands are crazy and very technical? Wait till you hear the album that has spawned those mindless fucking minions of them. This is Suffocation's Effigy. Death Metal that has revolutionized the playing of almost every band that has heard their name. The riffings shows that chugging can be done well and when executed perfectly the sound resembles a butchering machine ripping off the bodies of carcasses while machine gun drummings guns down enemy forces. This thing is a blood fest and totally recommended. Get it.
